A Message from the Chief

A Message from the Chief

On behalf of the dedicated members of the Pilot Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, welcome to our web page.

For over 15 years, our mission has been to provide our community with an efficient and caring service. With approximately 25 volunteers, we respond to calls for fire, medical first response, motor vehicle incidents, mutual aid, and other calls for assistance.

Our members are constantly training in order to provide the community with a professional and timely level of service. We are proud of the men and women who volunteer for us and the skills and services they provide on a daily basis.

The safety of our community is of utmost importance to us. This website is a primary step towards providing fire safety through public education. I invite you to browse and read the various safety related articles and links. Be sure to pass these along to your family and friends, you may just save their lives.

Perhaps you may have some time to help us and your community. If so, please take a look at the information on the Volunteering page. We would really like to see you as part of our team.

Our volunteers would be proud to show you the apparatus and equipment we operate when we respond to an emergency. Give us a call or send us a message using the Contact Us page. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not accepting drop off applications at this time.

Thanks for visiting this site and feel free to contact our Officers with any questions or comments.
