Hall Info

The Pilot Mountain Volunteer Fire Department Hall

This hall was built in 1996 on land donated by Eugene and Shirley Symbalisty. The hall itself has three bay doors which house four vehicles, two engines, one tender, and one squad vehicle. On the ground floor the hall has an office, a large training room, vehicle bays with shelving and storage for equipment, and on the second floor there is a kitchen and a recreational space. The hall also serves as a recreational facility for community events, run by the Recreation Commission. The hall is sometimes a site for local elections, as well as many community events like holiday parties and garage sales.

On the property are several underground water tanks. There are also tanks located near Discovery Road and on North Kelly.
